Ch.46 - To Come Out of the Shadow


Nynaeve 


  • Nynaeve sees where Egwene is in the house. This could go somewhere. 


  • Egwene wants Renna or Seta to feel and endure exactly what she has done to Egwene and let her feel all the pain. 


  • I’m so happy Nynaeve got the collar off Egwene and they’re leaving the house; probably on the way to meet Bayle Doman at the ship. 


  • They leave Seta with the collar on and the leash on a peg on the wall for someone else to find her and keep her dirty secret. 


- Her dirty secret is that she can channel but doesn’t think she can and the collar works on Seta when it’s not supposed to. 

  • Omg Egwene smashed the pitcher against Renna and knocked her out and put her collar on Renna and the bracelet is around Egwene's wrist. She told Renna who’s boss. 


  • I find it interesting Egwene wants to kill the Seanchan for hurting. 


  • I found it noble that Egwene put the bracelet on the peg like Seta’s and left them there for someone to find them . 


  • Seta is probably like what’s happening and I never thought I’d have to see how the collared women felt for a change of lifestyle. 


  • Nynaeve uses the Power on Seanchan soldiers and causes some attention. Not a good plan Nynaeve. 


  • I hope the girls reach the boat safely. 


Bayle Doman 


  • Yarin is suggesting they leave while the damane are killing one another and thinks they should just leave. 


  • Bayle Doman insists they wait since he gave them his word. 


Geofram Bornhald


  • Oh god….. the Whitecloaks are also going towards Falme. There’s definitely a war coming. 


Rand 


  • I’m starting to think Rand will go to Egwene’s rescue and not help get the Horn to safety. 


  • I’m now thinking the arrow that hit the Amyrlin Seat was really meant for Rand. 


  • Did Rand just call Loial out for a Darkfriend? 


  • I find it noble of Ingtar to tell Rand to take the Horn where it belongs (Fal Dara?). 


  • Lord Ingtar sacrificed himself to give Rand and his companions time to get out of Falme at the expense of Ingtar’s life. I wasn’t expecting this to happen at all.  (Ingtar actually admits to being a Darkfriend.) 


  • Ingtar died to redeem himself far being a Darkfriend. 


Point of View 


  • It starts out with Nynaeve’s PoV. 


- This section ends when Nynaeve uses the Power on the soldiers to grab their attention. 

  • Then it shifts to Bayle Doman’s PoV.


- This bit ends when Bayle Doman insists he shall wait for the girls to show up. 

  • Then it goes to Geofram Bornhald’s PoV. 


- This part ends when the Whitecloaks go towards Falme. 

  • The chapter ends with Rand’s PoV. 


    - The chapter finishes when Ingtar redeemed himself for being a Darkfriend.

  Ch.29  Fill out after I read chapter  Symbol : It looks like some sort of helmet. It might go hand in hand with the chapter. This looks like a Seanchan helmet and could just be showing what helmets these people wear.  On the hardcover edition of TGH I’m starting to think the creature on top of the rocks is a Seanchan and same with the ones on the back cover.  Chapter title : The title of the chapter is Seanchan. The Dragon Reborn - Chapters 9-11

  Ch9 - Wolf Dreams  So Aes Sedai can have the power of Dreaming; so what does that mean?  In Perrin’s dream, Who was the bloody man? Oh no the next dream has  Lanfear in it; oh fucking shit this is really bad (there were white pointed archways that led into a bigger room with furniture carved, gilded and inlaid with ivory). This makes me think of the Place in Tear Rand  is trying to get to. Like a way of foretelling events that will eventually happen perhaps.  Page 115 - “ Run now! You must not be here now. Danger. Great Danger. Worse than all the Neverborn. You must go. Go now! Now! ” - I was thinking what “danger” was Hopper referring to in the dream; something horrible/terrifying will happen in the future to Perrin or someone else perhaps.  WTF would Hopper go for Perrin’s throat? We also think he’s dead, but is he really dead; or is this a vision of something terrible to come? But in reality Hopper was just trying to scare Perrin out of the dream...

The Great Hunt - Chapter 45 : Blademaster

Ch.45  - These questions were brought to you by the Gleeman’s Apprentice Podcast.   Nyneave  Nynaeve channeled at the collars of two damane and they fell to the ground.  Initial plan was: Ambush Sul'dam to get dress+a'dam -> one of the girls take dress other where collar -> go to Damane house New plan: Nynaeve just put a sack on the sul’dam’s head and collar the sul’dam’s neck and use the sacked sul’dam to get into the building with all the damane(where Egwene is being held) and they take the sack of the sul’dam’s head before going in.  Nyneave doesn’t want to collar Elayne.  And Nynaeve takes the sul’dam’s dress and they switched  clothes because the dress fit Nynaeve better and the sul’dam was dressed in a dress they prepared earlier to look like a damane dress.  Nynaeve has power over Seta. Seta promised not to tell anyone and she’s the leashed one.  Now they are headed to the a Lion’s Den ( aka where all the damane are kept)....
